Stoke-on-Trent Burglars Remanded in Custody

Two men have been charged with an aggravated burglary in Tunstall.

police handcuff genericBrandon Leon Williams aged 22 of Roundway, Stoke-on-Trent and Jordan Francis Grocott of Hillary St, Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent , 23 were arrested on 25 and 26 January.

They are charged with aggravated burglary following an incident that took place in Beckton Avenue Tunstall on 10 November 2016 in which four armed males gained entry to the address and threatened and assaulted the occupant. They then made off stealing mobile phones, car keys and other property.

Both are currently on remand. Two other suspects have been arrested and released on bail.

A 19 year-old man has also been charged and remanded in custody for an Aggravated Burglary at Waterside Drive Blurton which took place on 22 January.
Luke Finney of Ellerby Rd, Blurton was arrested on 23 January and charged with  Robbery and another offence of Theft in dwelling in connection with the incident where four armed offenders threatened the occupants and made off with a small amount of money and mobile phones.

Finney has been remanded to appear at Crown Court on 27 February 2017.
