Give us an interesting fact about yourself: I was offered a Job in Johannesburg in the 70’s with house, staff, car, everything @ 4x my salary, but couldn’t take it as our youngest child had just been born and we felt the offer had come at just the wrong time. Always wanted to see South Africa ever since!!

What is on your ‘bucket list’? To travel the world playing drums with the very best musicians.
What is your favourite song of all time and why? True love Ways by Buddy Holly/ Something is Happening by Peter Noone & Herman’s Hermits – both songs lyrics reflect everything I love about mine & Di’s 49 yrs marriage and 50yrs of being together.
What do you love about Newcastle-under-Lyme? : Everything! It’s a fabulous market town with something for everyone.
