CREWE AND KIDSGROVE WIN, VALE DRAW, NEWCASTLE LOSE
Crewe Alexandra moved into second place in league 2 after coming from behind to gain a 2-1 victory over Walsall at the Bescott Stadium.
Lavery scored on 15 minutes to put the Saddlers in front until the 50th minute when Powell levelled the scores, the Alex continued to push for the winner and got the all-important goal on 68 minutes with Finney netting to give Crewe all three points.
Port Vale once again let a lead slip as they gained 1-0 lead with Burgess scoring an own goal on 55 minutes to put the Valiants in front, but once again Vale conceded with Elliott netting for Salford to level the game at 1-1 and both sides taking a point from the game. Vale remain in tenth place.
It was heart ache once again for Newcastle Town as they were defeated 1-0 at Loughborough Dynamo in the Bet Victor Northern South East Division with Dynamo scoring in the 90th minute with a goal from Demidh.
Kidsgrove Athletic gained all three points as they won 3-1 over Spalding at the Autonet Insurance Stadium. Wiggin-Thomas put Grove 1-0 on five minutes with France doubling the lead six minutes. Spalding gained a consolation goal on 64 minutes from Jackson, but victory was assured with Williamson netting for Kidsgrove in the 90th minute.
