Chuma Anene equalised for Crewe on 61 minutes, before Town struck twice in the space of three minutes with Jerry Yates putting Swindon back in front on 69 minutes and Daniel Rose netting Town’s third on 72 minutes to seal the points.
In the Bet Victor Northern South East Division Newcastle Town lost out to Frickley Athletic 1-0 at the Red Industries Stadium with a Jonathon Margetts goal separating the two sides, while an Anthony Malbon goal gave Kidsgrove Athletic victory at the Scholars Ground as they beat Chasetown 1-0.
