Staffordshire Police Investigate Serious Assault in Stoke-on-Trent

Officers from Staffordshire Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Parsonage Street, Tunstall, at around 12.50am on Tuesday (4 December).
The 42-year-old man was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital to be treated for stab wounds to the chest and head.
His condition is now described as sedated and stable following extensive surgery.
The offender was described as wearing dark clothing and following the attack he ran onto the High Street, and then turned left towards Sandyford.
An investigation is underway and any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 0016 of 4 December.
