Stoke-on-Trent man charged with serious sexual offences involving children

Following an investigation by Staffordshire Police a man has been arrested and charged with serious sexual offences involving children.

Neal Hopkins, aged 45, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested yesterday (Wednesday 12 September) and was charged with 27 offences.

The charges relate to several incidents that took place in Stoke-on-Trent, as well as in the Derbyshire, Worcestershire and Yorkshire areas.

Hopkins appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre this morning (13 September) and was remanded into custody. He will reappear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 15 October.
