Cannabis Plants Discovered in Tunstall and Normacot

More than 270 cannabis plants have been recovered by Staffordshire Police after two raids in Stoke-on-Trent earlier today. (8 August)

Officers discovered around 200 plants at an address in Clive Street, Tunstall, while a search at an address in Buccleuch Road, Normacot uncovered a further 72 plants.

No arrests have yet been made but investigations are continuing, including forensic examinations.

Chief Inspector John Miles said: “A significant number of cannabis plants have now been taken off the streets and this criminality has been disrupted.
