Abbey Hulton United to hold charity match in memory of Dylan Day

3 May 2018 Local News

Abbey Hulton United are holding a charity football match on Sunday 6th May to raise money for the Sepsis Charity.

The match will be held at Drayton Beaumont Park on Birches Head Road in Abbey Hulton and kicks off at 2pm.

All proceeds will go to the Sepsis charity in memory of Dylan Day. Dylan Day was a 12 year old boy who sadly passed away from flu B and Sepsis recently and was a keen local footballer whose brother Zach currently plays for the Abbey.

On the day Dylan’s all stars will be playing Signal Wanderers and local businesses will be donating to the cause.

There is confirmation that Ricardo Fuller is playing in the game and possibly Mama Sidebe. There may also be a few more ex professional players making an appearance of some sort on the day.

The club want to raise as much money as possible for the cause and are calling it Dylan’s Day.

All are welcome in what looks to be a great day! And the sun is going to be out too!
