Students from the Alpha Academies Trust visited London last week as part of their Government and politics work.
Students visited the House of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and Downing Street.
Students were complimented on their conduct around Parliament and outside Buckingham Palace where they saw members of the Royal Family leave their home.
During the visit, the students learned about democracy, voting and the importance of having their voice heard.
Spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development lead, Dave Brandrick, said: “Our students were a credit to the trust, not only with their behaviour but also their attitude to, and engagement with, politics.”
