Fatal road traffic collision in Stoke

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a one vehicle road traffic collision involving a blue Honda motorcycle on Glebe Street, Stoke, just after midnight today (12 September).

The 35-year-old male driver of the motorcycle sadly died at the scene. The man, who was local to the area, has yet to be formally identified. His family are being supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.

Following the collision the road was closed for around five and a half hours.

An investigation into the circumstances of the collision is now underway by officers from the Collision Investigation Unit. The incident has been referred to the IPCC.
