Man named following fatal RTC in the Moorlands

Police have now named the man who sadly lost his life in a fatal road traffic collision on Sunday (6 August).

William Ebrey, aged 54, from Congleton, died after the car he was driving was in a collision with a stone wall on the A523 Calton Moor Cross Roads in the Moorlands. He was the only person in the vehicle and was found dead at the scene.

The family have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.

Anyone who saw the collision is asked to call us on 101 quoting incident number 194 of 6 August.
